What does saving faith look like?

In Romans 4, Paul points us to Abraham as an example of genuine faith—not a faith that earns righteousness, but a faith that trusts the God who graciously gives it.

Saving faith begins with God. It is not something we manufacture or earn. It is given by grace, extended to all who believe in Christ, and strengthened as we trust the promises of God.

Abraham believed God even when the circumstances seemed impossible. He did not place his confidence in himself, but in the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that do not exist.

And the same righteousness credited to Abraham is credited to those who believe in Jesus Christ.

We can’t earn it.

God provides it.

Faith embraces it.

Christ secures it.

Join us as we walk through Romans 4 and consider what genuine saving faith looks like.
