OUR NEXT SEMESTER OF COMMUNITY GROUPS WILL BEGIN ON JANUARY 25TH
AS IRON SHARPENS IRON SO ONE MAN SHARPENS ANOTHER
Community is a fruit of pursuing God together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with other followers of Christ... and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Community Groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships accessible to you.
COMMON SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS
What happens in a Community Group?
Community groups exist to provide connection, growth, and care to the members of the group. At each group you will have a time of connection through fellowship or a shared meal. There will be time to care for needs through sharing prayer requests and praying for one another. Community groups also have a time to grow spiritually through discussion and application around The Bible or the previous Sunday’s sermon.
How often does a small group meet?
Community Groups are not a meeting, but they do have a meeting. Groups meet once a week in three, 10 week trimesters. Trimesters start and stop with the natural breaks of the year (Easter, Summer, Winter Holidays) to allow leaders to regroup and to allow new members to join.
Is childcare available?
Childcare varies from group to group. Make sure to contact the leader of the group to inquire about childcare for their particular community group. *If you need additional assistance, please email info@5stoneschurch.com.
